Although my blood cell counts get lower with each treatment and the anemia sets in stronger than before, I feel great!! Life is wonderfully fabulous. I can't explain any of it. I only know that God's ways are higher than mine and His peace surpasses ALL understanding!!
Much strength is found in the following Scriptures:
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Do you
not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of
the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding
no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of
the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but
those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings
like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
(Isaiah 40:28-31)
So do
not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will
strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
(Isaiah 41:10)
Come
to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my
yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you
will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
(Matthew 11: 28-31)
And
we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who
have been called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)
Thanks for your continued prayers as I take on Chemo #3, Friday from 10-3
